Johnson Matthey is one of the world-leading manufacturers of precious metal chemicals. We have built up our expertise over decades and during these years have synthesised hundreds of compounds, that are based on gold, silver and the platinum group metals. The most common chemicals for industry and research are presented on this page. Many of these compounds are available optionally as solids, in solution or as concentrates. We offer custom synthesis and deliver according to your specifications. We have developed many products at the request of customers and also customised to specific industrial requirements. We are able to provide support for each of your development steps from the laboratory through pilot plant production up to industrial scale production.

Our chemical products are used in the electroplating industry, electronics industry, mirror production, photo industry, battery production, catalyst production, glass decoration and in research.
