Nickelbraze™ hard and high temperature solders are used to join stainless steels and alloys containing nickel and cobalt. They offer exceptional resistance to chemical corrosion and oxidation combined with high strength at elevated operating temperatures. These alloys are widely used in the aerospace and automotive industries and in the assembly of nuclear power plants. In this regard, soldering is mostly carried out in a vacuum or under a protective atmosphere. These solders are available as pastes, powders or tapes. Some alloys can be produced as a foil using the “melt spin” process.
